The breakfast spread impressed with delicious pastries and fresh fruit. A long walk to the estate could be inconvenient at night.

the setting is super chill and private, perfect for a couple's getaway. staff were amazin, especially wellington, he was super friendly and helpful. the breakfast spread was delicious with fresh pastries and fruits. loved that it's close enough to franschhoek to explore, but still feels secluded. the deluxe double room was comfy and had a great view with a lovely balcony.
had a bit of an issue with the wifi, it was kinda flaky. also, the furniture was a little outdated and could use some refurbishing.

what a dissapointing stay, the wifi was very flaky, I almost lost my sanity, considering the overrated luxury here. also, the tv didn’t work. absurdly, I expected a room upgrade for all these inconveniences, but alas, I was treated like everyone else. would have given a glowing review, but I just couldn’t.

The breakfast options felt poorly communicated, with gluten-free alternatives seemingly disregarded despite prior notice. The downstairs suite became stifling without electricity for long stretches, as there was no generator. windows needed to stay closed for security, leaving the atmosphere quite oppressive. a strong odor emanating from the bathroom disrupted the experience, requiring multiple reports but remaining unresolved.

Just a bit of a miss with the pillows. a tad too soft for my taste.

The breakfast spread was fantastic and filling, and we truly enjoyed curling up by the fireplace in the lounge after our busy day. The outdoor swimming pool and sun loungers were perfect for soaking up the sun, which made for a great way to relax. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which wasn’t always stable, but it didn’t ruin our lovely stay. 😊
